Marria Saleemi

Having spent much of her career working “client side” – both as a senior HR professional and in-house adviser – Marria has gained an invaluable insight as to what clients really want and how best to achieve it. Accordingly, she takes a fiercely practical and results-orientated approach to solving legal problems with maximum empathy and minimal drama.

Marria’s recent work includes:

• providing ongoing employee relations advice to a large unionised employer
• dealing with a myriad of day-to-day HR issues
• advising on policy development and documentation
• coordinating a large-scale TUPE transfer
• advising on the whole ambit of Employment Tribunal claims, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, and whistleblowing
• negotiating and advising upon settlement agreements

Over the last 15 years Marria has operated in a range of sectors, including charities, the NHS, and local government. She regularly commentates on all things HR and provides in-house training sessions on Employment law topics of the day.
